Alert 61 : A New Name Inspires Renewed Dedication

Dr. Peter Breggin’s Center for the Study of Empathic Therapy is expanding its outreach with a new name:  The International Center for the Study of Patient-Oriented Psychiatry (ICSPP).  Our goals remain the same while our efforts expand.   Patient-Oriented Psychiatry requires a critical analysis of the self-serving diagnoses and brain-injurious treatments now promoted by the psychiatric industry and a renewed dedication to empathic approaches that help people to fulfill their psychological, relational, and spiritual aspirations.

For our next event, we are cosponsoring a conference with Pam Popper’s Wellness Forum Health organization Nov. 9-11, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio.

By signing up for our free Frequent Alerts, you can stay in touch with exciting news as we increase our impact by sponsoring and cosponsoring other idealistic organizations that share our values and aims.  We are building coalitions on behalf psychiatric reform.
